The dreams of one man

Peckforton Castle is the realisation of the dreams of one man. John Tollemache, MP for Cheshire, built this breath taking castle between 1844 and 1851. Standing atop a wooded hillside, its dramatic silhouette can be seen for miles across the Cheshire Plains. Today it is a magnificent Grade 1 listed building and architecturally recognised as the UK´s truest representation of a medieval castle.
